Slate Falls Nation

Slate Falls Nation is an Ojibway First Nation community located on shore of Bamaji Lake, approximately 120 km north of the Sioux Lookout District in Northwestern Ontario.

During the summer, the community is accessible by Float Plane. In winter, Ski planes are the preferred mode of transport. Year-round, wheeled aircrafts provide reliable connection via the Slate Falls Airport. The community is also connected to Sioux Lookout and larger Southern Road Networks via an all-season road.
